Mathew Jay-Lewis

Mathew trained as an actor at Central School of Speech and Drama. He has appeared as a regular character (Chris Clark) in BBC's 'Eastenders', as well as numerous theatre productions including
extensive work with Red Shift & Red Shift Youth Theatre. He is currently a regular character (Matt Ellis) in 'Family Affairs'.

Mathew is a co-founder and joint Artistic Director of Big Space Productions.

Douglas Pye

Douglas has acted in various independent, graduation and feature films. These Include the Channel 4 short "The Gallery", James Pilkington's "Disco" (BBC2) and the feature films "Razor Blade Smile" and "Another Life".

He has been a runner and third AD on adverts, pop promos and feature films.

He has researched and formatted television ideas for companies such as Angry Donkey, Diverse Productions and Planet 24. He has filmed a school educational project set up by Camper Shoes and most recently co-written and directed a short film "Planted".

 

Daniel Stewart

Trained at the California Institute of the Arts. His last work in England was creating the role of Kraus in Trevor Nunn's production of the world premiere of Tennessee William's Not About Nightingales at the Royal National Theatre. This production then transferred to the Alley Theatre, Houston and then to Broadway. Other work in England includes The Country Girl with Corin Redgrave at Greenwich Theatre, The House of Mirth for the Cambridge Theatre Company, Left at the National Theatre Studio and MacBeth at the Stratford Studio Theatre. In the US. Daniel has been seen in many productions including The Beauty Queen of Leenane at Syracuse Stage, Closer for Portland Centre Stage, the Title role in Coriolanus at the Virginia Shakespeare festival, Othello, Importance of Being Earnest, The Foreigner and Oklahoma! all for Hillside Repertory Theatre of L.A. A Midsummer Night's Dream, Our Town, Amadeus and The Winter's Tale all at Shakespeare Santa Cruz.

Film and Television includes Death Train with Pierce Brosnan, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Space: Above and Beyond, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Days of our Lives, Without Fear, Rhinohead and Hamlet.

When not working with John, Matt and Doug for Big Space, Dan lives in New York City with his wife Mary.


John White

John trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama.

Theatre work includes "The Honest Whore" for 606 Theatre, Petruchio in "The Taming of The Shrew", Lenny in Pinter's "The Homecoming", and James in Pinters "The Colection". Other leading roles include Macbeth, Iago , Agamemnon and Titus Andronicus.

Television credits include The Bill, 10x10, Blind Date and most recently as DC Peter Moss in "Burnside".

Films include The Masculine Touch, Sexy Beast, Oorinal and Sunday People.

His directing credits include london productions of "A Day In The Death Of Jo Egg" by Peter Nicholls, "The Caretaker" by Pinter, "Christie in Love", "Oh What a Lovely War", "Passion" by Edward Bond and "Right of Asylum" at the Theatre Works, Edinburgh.

John is co founder and joint Artistic Director of Big Space Productions.
